Artist Bio: Calico Monroe

Hailing from the heart of Detroit, Michigan, Calico Monroe is a rising force in hip hop whose lyrical talent and fierce authenticity are impossible to ignore. Born Denise Jones, Calico grew up surrounded by sound, rhythm, and innovation—her father, an established techno music producer, laid the foundation for her deep-rooted connection to music. That legacy, fused with her own voice and vision, gave birth to an artist who respects the past while boldly pushing toward the future.

Her stage name, Calico Monroe, pays tribute to her favorite animal—the calico cat—known for its bold patterns, independence, and unmistakable presence. Much like her namesake, Calico brings vibrant energy, unpredictability, and fierce confidence to every verse she delivers.

Her debut album, "I'm a Great Winner, I'm a Terrible Loser," is a powerful introduction to her gift for lyricism, storytelling, and self-awareness. From razor-sharp bars to moments of raw vulnerability, the project showcases a young woman who’s already mastered her pen and isn’t afraid to use it. With beats that hit hard and lyrics that cut even deeper, Calico Monroe proves she’s not just here to compete—she’s here to dominate.

Artist Bio: D. Major

Born David Parish in the soulful city of Paris, France, D. Major was destined for music. The son of two accomplished musicians, he was immersed in melody from the start. When his family relocated to Philadelphia—a city steeped in rich musical heritage—David’s artistic journey truly began. Growing up, he sang in church choirs and absorbed the sounds of Motown and Philly soul legends like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and Patti LaBelle. These early influences shaped an old soul with a fresh voice and timeless appeal.

Now known as D. Major, he brings that heritage to life with a style that blends classic soul, R&B, and modern storytelling. A multi-instrumentalist and gifted vocalist, he doesn’t just perform his music—he lives it. On his debut album, "Inside My Mind," D. Major co-wrote and co-produced every track alongside hitmaker Astro, weaving raw emotion, introspective lyrics, and lush arrangements into an unforgettable listening experience.

"Inside My Mind" is more than an album—it’s a journey through love, heartbreak, growth, and self-discovery. D. Major opens the door to his world, inviting listeners on a rollercoaster of feeling that is as vulnerable as it is powerful. With the poise of a veteran and the hunger of a newcomer, D. Major is not just arriving—he’s claiming his space.

Group Bio: God's People

Formed in 2019 during one of the most uncertain times in modern history, gospel group God’s People emerged as a light in the darkness. When the world stood still during the pandemic, five college choir members—connected by friendship, faith, and a shared passion for music—came together virtually to create something bigger than themselves. What began as Zoom songwriting sessions quickly evolved into a full body of work, and ultimately, a powerful ministry through song.

Rooted in soul, unity, and spiritual depth, God’s People draws inspiration from legendary gospel acts like Commissioned, The Winans Family, John P. Kee, and Sounds of Blackness. Each member brings their own unique voice to the group—literally and creatively—as all five are both lead vocalists and songwriters, creating harmonies that are as heartfelt as they are heavenly.

Their breakout moment came when renowned producer Astro discovered a YouTube video of the group harmonizing over Zoom. Captivated by their sound, he reached out—and the rest, as they say, is history.

Their debut album, "My Offering," is a 15-track testimony of faith, love, and unwavering hope. Overflowing with soulful melodies and uplifting lyrics, it’s more than music—it’s a spiritual experience. Whether you’re in need of comfort, encouragement, or celebration, God’s People delivers a sound that will enrich your soul and lift your spirit.

With voices anointed for this moment, God’s People is here to remind the world: even in the darkest times, there is always light.

Artist Bio:

Sigma is a genre-blending singer, songwriter, and producer from Tacoma, Washington, whose music flows with the emotional richness of Neo-Soul and the polish of contemporary R&B. A graduate of the School of the Arts, Sigma has been sharpening her vocal gift since the age of eight, studying under a world-renowned vocal coach and developing a voice that’s as technically powerful as it is emotionally resonant.

As a biracial artist, Sigma draws from a wide spectrum of cultural influences, bringing unique depth and texture to her sound. Her artistry is shaped by duality—balancing vulnerability and strength, soul and structure, tradition and innovation. Her name, Sigma, often associated with masculinity and autonomy, contrasts intentionally with the title of her debut album, The Beta Project, which leans into the feminine, emotional, and intuitive side of her creative spirit. Together, the two ideas represent the full spectrum of who she is as an artist—bold and balanced, soft and self-assured.

Discovered by producer Astro during an impromptu karaoke performance in the Bay Area, Sigma quickly proved herself to be a rare talent. That moment sparked a collaborative partnership that would become The Beta Project—a 20+ track debut that showcases Sigma’s range as a vocalist, writer, and co-producer. The album also features standout contributions from labelmates D. Major and Calico Monroe, offering a sonic experience that is both intimate and expansive.

With her fearless fusion of sound and soul, Sigma isn’t just introducing herself to the world—she’s redefining what it means to be a multidimensional artist in today’s music landscape.
